Description
This course examines federal and state educational and civil rights legislation pertaining to special education, physical education, and sport for students with disabilities, the cognitive, physical and social/emotional characteristics of individuals with disabilities in K-12 school settings, and instructional strategies, modifications, and assessment best practices for inclusive physical education. This course contains embedded course work related to exceptional education that fulfills the state requirement for teachers in Georgia. A grade of B or higher is required to receive credit for this course.
