Students in this course will: a) define what is meant by the concept of project management as this concept applies to various instructional design and learning development projects; b) define the skills and competencies of an effective learning development project manager; c) define the basic phases in the life cycle of various learning development projects; d estimate the resources and the effort needed to complete a variety of learning development projects; and e) create an initial project plan in response to a client request.
