Description
The seminar on Transformative Pedagogies will explore the variety of pedagogies that have developed to combat oppression and work toward justice in both K-12 and higher education spaces, by exploring educators’ inclusion of race, class, gender, sexuality, dis/ability, size and other ways of identifying and being into classroom teaching practices. Examples of scholarship on the relationship between curriculum, epistemology and pedagogy will also be examined. L
