Description
This course explores Hip Hop knowledges, and their pedagogical pasts, presents, and futures. Students will consider how Hip Hop pedagogies emerged as part of the inheritance and ongoing development of the Black Radical Tradition(s), as well as from ongoing engagement with marginalized communities across the globe. Hip Hop pedagogies will be examined in the social and political context of movements for freedom, as well as systems of oppression. L
