KH 7000 - Student Teaching in K-12 Health and Physical Education Settings

Description
This course offers teacher candidates hands-on experience in public school K-12 health and physical education classes. Under the direct supervision of cooperating K-12 teachers, students will observe, assist, and teach, applying pedagogical techniques learned in the program. Capstone seminars will foster reflection and growth. MAT students not employed as full-time teachers within the school system will be required to complete KH 7000 at both the elementary and secondary levels. MAT students employed as full-time teachers will only need to complete KH 7000 at the level of their employed school, whether it be elementary or secondary. Regardless of their employment status, all students will receive training across all levels during the program to fulfill the PSC requirements. L
