GEOS 6125 - Measurement Techniques in Hydrology

Prerequisites: An undergraduate or cross-listed course in hydrology (GEOS 4002/6002, GEOL 4010/GEOS 6010,or GEOS 4650/6650).
Description
This course gives students fundamental training in the underlying theory and practice of a range of common measurement techniques in operational and scientific hydrology. Students will view online lectures and complete quizzes prior to class. In class time will be dedicated to hands-on application of the techniques outlined in the syllabus. Analysis of collected data and a summative technical report will be completed after each applied field exercise.
