The Paths to Literacy Unit within the Department of Early Childhood and Elementary Education offers non-degree graduate courses in literacy for in-service teachers. Specializations for a Literacy Lessons Teacher, Literacy Lesson Tutor, Comprehensive Intervention Model Teacher, Successful Start Teacher, and Literacy Coach are offered. Successful completion of course sequences throughout one academic year allows individuals to implement the initiatives within their local school district.
