Graduate Certificate in Accounting Foundations
The Graduate Certificate in Accounting Foundations is a 12-credit hour program that provides students core accounting knowledge at the graduate level. The certificate can serve as a complement to an undergraduate accounting degree, and allow students with accounting background to deepen their knowledge of the accounting field. The four courses, which are all required, focus on the fundamental areas of technical accounting: financial accounting, managerial accounting, taxation, and assurance (auditing). A graduate will have knowledge that will prepare them for professional licensure (the Certified Public Accounting (CPA)) and further prepare them for a career in public accounting, corporate accounting, and other related careers.
Certificate Applications: Applicants will apply to the same online application as graduate applicants at gradapply.gsu.edu/apply
