Entry-Level Doctorate (OTD) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Health Sciences

The dual OTD/PhD degree program allows students who are currently enrolled in the OTD program to have a fast track to earn the dual degrees: OTD plus PhD. Traditionally, it is expected to take a total of 7-8 years to complete both degrees, 4-5 years for a PhD and 3 years for an OTD. Because a total of 27 credits from eight courses earned in the OTD program will be counted toward the 60-credit requirement for a PhD in Health Sciences, the OTD/PhD dual degree program will shorten the duration of study to 5-6 years.

Admission Requirements

Applicants should:

  1. Be enrolled in the GSU OTD program
  2. Have Completed at least the first two semesters of GSU OTD course work with good academic standing
